Canopy Kratom Review 2020: Is this a reliable supplier

Introduction to Canopy Kratom

The Kratom market is flooding with vendors, each one claiming to be better than the last. We have vendors spread across the US with a few others stationed overseas, but the truth is that the quality of Kratom varies significantly as you move from one supplier to the next. Most of the vendors in the market today do not have the resources to ship in their Kratom supplies from their native areas, house and handle them in accredited facilities and submit them for third party lab tests. Another section of vendors has the financial resources but not the expertise in the handling of Kratom right from when it is just a young tree to the point where it is a potent and highly beneficial powder. We also have other suppliers who are simply not interested in going through all the relevant processes to make sure that they are delivering quality Kratom strains to their buyers. These guys are more interested in vivid marketing strategies, so it’s very easy to fall for their gimmicks, yet their products are not up for the task. This mess leaves the buyers in a terrible position where they don’t know who to trust with their money.

Canopy Kratom or Canopy Botanicals is one of the hundreds of Kratom vendors in the market today. As you can guess, they also claim to have some of the best Kratom products in the market that are retailing for competitive prices, but is that true?

About Canopy Kratom

Canopy Kratom is also known as Canopy Botanicals. The North Carolina based company has extensive all-natural product lines offering you a one-stop-shop for most of your herbal needs. Whether you are looking for handmade soaps, teas, spices & seasonings, or Kratom, you can rely on them to hook you up with just that. They even stock some apparel such as branded Canopy Botanicals snapbacks and Canopy Aluminum Water Bottles.

Besides the product catalog, Canopy Botanicals is more popularly known for its insanely low prices. We are talking about $79.00 per a Kratom Kilo cheap! If you know your way around the Kratom market, then you know finding a Kilo of a powerful Kratom strain such as Maeng Da going for less than $100.00, let alone $79.00 can be very difficult. So how exactly has Canopy Botanicals pulled it off? How do they manage to keep the prices so low, and do the low prices translate to poor results?

Anyone would be skeptical about a product that is retailing for almost half the average price in the market. Is it that the other vendors have been overpricing their products for all this time, or perhaps Canopy Botanicals know something that other vendors don’t? How do they manage to get the supplies and run them through all the necessary quality tests and sale them at such low prices while still making profits? In most cases, such a vendor is always taking shortcuts to keep their operating costs down, and this is a massive problem because it’s through shortcuts that ineffective and contaminated Kratom strains end up in the market.

Canopy Botanicals do not provide any details on how they’ve managed to keep the prices so low, and this does not help to deal with skepticism on quality.

Website Interface

The canopy Botanicals website is very simple. You shouldn’t have a problem navigating and shopping for most of the products on offer. Unfortunately, the Kratom lovers must search for keywords such as Speciosa to see the Kratom strains available since there isn’t a link on that from the homepage.

You will also realize that the website is mostly unfinished. For instance, at the bottom of the home page are links to the shipping and return policies, privacy policy, and an about us link, but none of them will direct you to the intended page. Instead, they load back to the home page. This seriously limits the amount of information you can gather on this vendor, which makes it difficult for the regular buyers to determine whether their products are worth buying or not.

There’s also no comprehensive product description on the specific Kratom strains in the store, so if you don’t know what strain is decent for your needs, then you’d better do the research beforehand.

The shortcomings of the website shouldn’t be a deal-breaker, though. It’s an inconvenience that most people should be able to overlook, provided the strains are worth it. But that’s the problem; the user reviews don’t seem to show that Canopy Botanicals Kratom strains are that effective.

Product Catalog

Most of the Canopy Kratom botanicals can be accessed from the home page, but for the Kratom, you’ll need to utilize the search option to find the specific strains you want. A simple “Speciosa” search should do the trick.

Here are some of the available strains:

  • Green Maeng Da
  • Gold Bali
  • Green Hulu Kapuas
  • Green Asia
  • Green Malay
  • Green Thai
  • Red Bali
  • Pink Elephant Blend
  • Red Borneo
  • Red Hulu Kapuas
  • Red Maeng Da
  • Red Ketapang
  • Red Thai
  • Red Remahan Maeng Da
  • Royal Bentuangie
  • White Elephant
  • White Maeng Da
  • Super Green Jong Kong
  • White Ketapang

Canopy Botanicals stocks Kratom powder only. If you are interested in capsules, tinctures, or Kratom tea products, then you’ll have to check out some of the other reputable stores.

Product Quality

Like I pointed out, dealing with Canopy Botanicals is very tricky. The company does not mention anything to do with Quality Assurance, which is a big letdown considering the suspiciously low prices.

Without any information on quality and lab testing, we’ve to turn to user testimonials to get an idea of how the products measure up. The reviews are mixed at best. Most of the previous buyers complain that the strains are either weak or didn’t do anything at all. Some people reported decent results after using some of their strains, though, so I wouldn’t go as far as saying they are entirely useless.

If there’s one place that Canopy Botanicals beats the competition is on the prices. It’s also the main reason why they are so popular.

The prices start as low as $3.50 for a 25 grams package. I’ve honestly never seen prices lower than that. 125 grams is retailing at $15.00, 250 grams at $25.00, while 1 Kilo is going for just $79.00.

Unfortunately, the prices won’t mean a thing if the quality is poor. Based on the mixed reactions from the previous buyers, I’d say that the inconsistency is definitely something worth considering before you let the cheap prices overwhelm you into placing your bulk orders.

Shipping and Return Policy

Canopy Botanicals offers both First Class and Priority Shipping via USPS. The turnaround time is usually 24 hours, but some orders can take up to 48 hours to be shipped. If you place your order before 2 PM, then it should be shipped to you by the next day. You can use the tracking code to monitor the progress of your order in case of any problems regarding delayed deliveries or if you just want to get an update on your shipment.

Due to legal issues, Canopy Botanicals cannot ship to Arkansas, Alabama, Rhode Island, Indiana, Vermont, and Wisconsin.

The incomplete Canopy Botanicals website makes it very difficult to get the finer details of their return policy. However, we did some digging and discovered that they accept returns but for unopened products only. Any items whose seals are broken are not eligible for a refund or exchange. You can contact Canopy Botanicals through the email provided on the website in case you want to return your order.

Bottom Line

Canopy Kratom is, without a doubt, one of if not the cheapest Kratom vendor in the market. The prices are unreal, and this is the main reason why they are getting so many mentions on the internet. Sadly, the prices do not tell half the story. The inconsistencies seen from the user testimonials prove that you never know what to expect from the strains. For that reason, I’ll encourage you to be very careful when purchasing from the store. If you are going to give them a shot, I’ll advise you to keep your first purchase small to avoid bigger losses in case the results do not impress you.
